1. BACKGROUND

The client is a cooperative agri-food group present in 17 countries with a turnover of more than 4 billion euros.

The administrative headquarters located in the Hauts de France region has a business service centre at the service of the group.

Within this centre, the CSP pays does not provide the expected level of service. The Human Resources Department wishes to call on an experienced Payroll Interim Manager to review the organization, improve the expected quality of service and work on the company’s cross-functional projects relating to payroll.

 

2. DISPOSITION

Thanks to a solid network of managers from the WAYDEN pool, Alexandra GARNIER, Associate Director, organizes a meeting with the client based abroad by videoconference, in order to introduce Anne CHARPENTIER, recently available, whose career as Payroll Director is a good match for the technical and human skills sought.

Anne CHARPENTIER has more than 30 years of experience in payroll, personnel administration and HR organization, Time Management, compensation and benefits – group reporting, management and structuring of HR teams Payroll ADP. She has been involved in the context of redesign/takeover of the payroll department, crisis management and has regularly dealt with topics around the optimization, reliability and modeling of HRIS. She has also carried out HR system audits: architecture and processes and is also very familiar with the tool used by the client: SAP (payroll module).

 

3. MISSION

Reporting to the HR Director Europe, Anne CHARPENTIER’s overall role consists of:

  • Remotivate the entire CSP payroll team and make them aware of the culture of results,
  • To increase the skills of the Payroll SSC team on the SAP tool,
  • Be a source of proposals for a more efficient organization in collaboration with the Payroll Manager in place,
  • Ensure the transfer of competence from the person on retirement (bearing the history) to the team in place,
  • Get involved in pairs on cross-functional subjects: profit-sharing, profit-sharing, tax exemption, NAO, etc.

 

4. ASSESSMENT

As part of this mission, Alexandra GARNIER agreed on a monthly follow-up with Anne CHARPENTIER and the client. The result is a great success in meeting the objectives of this mission, the criticality of which was largely based on the team’s increase in skills and its adherence to the restructuring project in order to provide a service that lived up to expectations.
