Nicolas GODOT is an engineer from the Mines de Paris and an interim manager since 2015.
He has an industrial background (CNIM, ERAS, etc.) for sectors with high constraints with process units (mainly Defence, Environment and Energy) and project management responsibilities responsible for Studies, HSE and site sites.
In 2021, he carried out his 2nd Mission with WAYDEN.
What is the context of the mission on which you are involved?
We are working on a €50 million investment project for the extension of a factory through the creation of a new Carbon Black production line.
What is your mission?
I work as a Project Director: MOA of an EPC contract; I have QCD responsibility.
The CBE4 (Carbon Black Expansion Line 4) contract consists of a closing phase of the Detail Design, in parallel with the start of the construction of this line.
What are the challenges of the mission?
The challenges are the start-up of the unit in Q1 2024; The issues are not technical (reproduction of lines 1, 2 and 3) but on the ability to produce on time.
What is the current outcome of this mission?
The mission is still being carried out. But the balance sheet is favourable with particular attention to deadlines.
