1. BACKGROUND

The client is an association dedicated to families in the Île-de-France region, currently facing a difficult period following the sick leave of the interim Director General, in office since 2018 after a vacancy in the position of the CEO, dismissed for misconduct. These events have seriously shaken the stability of the association, creating a pressing need for leadership to restore serenity within the organization.

2. DISPOSITION

The client has set up a time-sharing intervention system aimed at filling the position of Managing Director. This initiative aims to maintain operational continuity while looking for an experienced professional to fill this strategic position. The HRD played a key role in identifying and proposing a replacement candidate, in accordance with the human resources management policy.

3. MISSION

In conjunction with the President of the Association, its Board of Directors and its Bureau, the Interim Director General will have to manage all the structures in Île-de-France divided into four areas of intervention (departmental territories):

  • Management of regional structures : supervising the different regions where the association operates. This responsibility includes coordinating activities in each region, aligning with organizational goals, and ensuring quality of services throughout the association
  • Administrative and financial management : ensuring the overall administrative and financial management of the association. This involves monitoring budgets, managing accounts, and complying with financial and administrative regulations in force
  • Quality, safety and communication : Ensuring the quality of the services provided by the client by establishing quality control and safety protocols. Implement effective communication procedures to strengthen the internal cohesion and external image of the association
  • Management of support services : supervising the accounting, human resources administration, invoicing, and general resources departments. Ensure their proper functioning and alignment with the association’s objectives
  • Relations with public authorities : maintain strong professional relations with local authorities. This dimension is crucial to ensure the harmonious collaboration of the association with these institutions

The mission could potentially pave the way for a permanent commitment, thus making it possible to sustain the progress made and to continue to serve the association in the best possible way.
