THE CONTEXT

The customer is a renowned food manufacturer in the transformation of wheat into flour. The company owns brand names, supermarket brands and product brands for professionals.

After having set up an e-commerce site for its existing BtoB customers, the General Management wishes to go further by creating a vertical BtoB Marketplace.

As part of this strategic project, the general management and the corporate marketing department have decided to call on an interim e-business director in charge of managing the day-to-day activity of the existing e-commerce site and also of managing the project to create this new Marketplace from start to finish.

DEVICE

Thanks to a solid network of managers from the WAYDEN pool, Alexandra GARNIER, Associate Director, organizes a meeting with the customer on site. She introduces Bruno FABER, whose career as E-business Director is consistent with the client’s project.

Bruno Faber has more than 20 years of experience in e-business (e-commerce & Marketplace), digital marketing, customer experience, omni-channel service and P&L/Business Unit management.

MISSION

Reporting to the Corporate Marketing Director, Bruno Faber’s mission is to set up the strategy, the operational deployment of the business and IS, the organization of processes (roadmap, project management), team management and change management on the e-business and digital marketing perimeter.

CONCLUSION

As part of this mission, Alexandra GARNIER agreed on a monthly follow-up with Bruno FABER and the client. This mode of operation has made it possible to establish agile and effective communication between all parties. The result is a great success in meeting the objectives of this mission, the criticality of which was largely based on a change in the business model (digital transformation) and the support for change of the teams.
