When Arthur BALI (*) goes on a mission

1. BACKGROUND

The client is a group active in the healthcare sector with numerous retirement homes and care clinics, and has nearly 100,000 employees and generates a turnover of more than 4 billion euros.

As part of numerous internal and external controls, the group’s Tax Department wishes to strengthen its tax team and calls on an interim manager, on a reinforcement mission, qualified, experienced and operational immediately to assume the role of Tax Accountant on a French and international scope.

 

2. DISPOSITION

Thanks to a solid network of managers from the WAYDEN pool, the WAYDEN Associate Director organizes a meeting in less than 48 hours with the client, in order to introduce Arthur BALI.

He has more than 35 years of experience in the management of corporate and consolidated accounts, tax declarations (tax consolidation, transfer pricing policy) and tax audits.

 

3. MISSION

The priority subjects of the interim manager are mainly the Group’s financial close, VAT and tax consolidation.

 

4. ASSESSMENT

As part of this mission, the WAYDEN associate director agreed on a monthly follow-up with Arthur Bali and the client. This mode of operation makes it possible to establish agile and effective communication between all parties.

The result is a great success in meeting the objectives of this mission, the criticality of which is largely based on the technical expertise in tax and accounting. As well as the ability of the interim manager to forge internal links with the client in order to obtain reliable and complete information with a view to consolidation to be submitted to the tax authorities.
