After 45, the age of all possibilities!

Article mis à jour le 3 August 2026

45 years old? We often hear the reluctance to change, the difficulty in appropriating digital tools or the reluctance of new generations. And yet, according to the U.S. Census Bureau and MIT, CEOs over 50 are 1.8 times more likely to succeed than 30-year-olds because of their greater experience, which includes both successes and failures, but also network, expertise, and reliability. However, and this is the paradox, the over-45s often find themselves fired following restructuring.
Have you ever thought about interim management?

Business leaders? For all those who are still hesitant to call on interim management within their units, this is a unique opportunity to transform and enrich your organization. By mobilizing the expertise of an interim manager, selected by a serious company recognized for its quality of execution, you will be winners in many respects.
Financially: the costs are ultimately less heavy and known from the beginning of the mission,Legally
: the contracts give both parties greater freedom to interrupt or continue the mission.
On a human level: managers are more motivated when they know what they are being asked to do.
Strategically: an external view makes it possible to question the effectiveness of internal operating methods in a healthy way.
Operationally: you benefit from the expertise of seasoned people who have already proven their value in similar contexts

Experienced managers, have you ever considered your age as a great opportunity to reinvent a second part of your career? You have all the cards in hand to make this change: professional maturity, experience, commitment, reliability and network. All you have to do is walk through the door of an interim management company or start your own business.
Is this a mountain for you to climb? This is understandable. But, once at the top, chances are you won’t want to come back down. Guided no longer by the logic of status too often so dear to the sacrosanct CDI, but by a logic of contribution so dear to your… fulfillment.
Isn’t putting your skills at the service of companies that need them a major lever of meaning?
