1. BACKGROUND

The customer is now one of the leading European players in the production of chipboard. Its strength, products of a quality superior to the usual standards on the market, panels allowing, by the fineness of their surface finish, the installation of the most delicate coatings. But also, a remarkable industrial power, the ability to handle large volumes, a particularly reliable responsiveness and logistical efficiency.

The client has been the subject of numerous takeovers by Dutch, German and French investment funds and finally joined a European group in 2019.

The general manager has chosen to part ways with the industrial director who has “abandoned” the company and who has not been able to set up a strategy for the production and maintenance of equipment. Despite the investments in the plant, production is no longer optimal and the staff no longer feel safe on site.

The general management asked WAYDEN to intervene as interim industrial director.

2. DISPOSITION

Thanks to a solid network of managers from the WAYDEN pool, we organize a meeting with the customer, in order to present Martin DUPONT, recently available, whose career as Plant Manager proves to be in good harmony with the technical and human skills sought.

Martin DUPONT has experience as a materials manufacturing plant manager, technical director, member of the CODIR, and has intervened on several occasions as an interim manager on reinforcement missions.
