1. CONTEXT

A client within a large French industrial group with a turnover of more than 2 billion euro and specialised in the design and manufacture of containers made from recyclable materials called on WAYDEN to identify an interim manager capable of taking over one of its production sites.

The main challenge was to appease the particularly tense social climate since the spin-off a few years earlier.

2. APPROACH

WAYDEN presented a package of three interim managers to act as plant managers within a few days.

The interim manager selected is a trained engineer with 30 years of experience in the heavy industry sector.

3. MISSION

The challenges of the assignment were to:

  • Manage the totality of the plant’s investment projects.
  • Supervise the group’s operational excellence plan and ensure the continuity of operations.
  • Implement investment projects within the plant.
  • Define the plant’s quality, quantity, cost and production time objectives and support the teams in achieving them.
  • Ensure compliance with Health, Safety and Environment (HSE) regulations.
