“UBERISATION IS REDEFINING THE HR FUNCTION”

How has technology changed the law?
Work in the^twenty-first century is fundamentally different from that of the twentieth^{: it} has been shaken by many technological revolutions, the latest being the advent of digital technology, an irreversible evolution. Uberization can be considered as an avatar of the civilization of knowledge, which is built on the basis of digital evolution. While technological developments have affected employment with each industrial revolution by eliminating certain activities, they have also contributed to the emergence of new functions, activities and working conditions.
Will it be the same today?
Yes, but the current technological revolution is of such magnitude that it is changing the very essence of life at work. The unity of time, place and action that punctuates the industrial company will be shattered, with digital technology disrupting both professional and personal activity as soon as its instruments serve both private and professional lives. The whole question is how to prevent this technological revolution, which favours independence and is therefore at the service of freedoms, from encroaching on them through other elements of subordination that make unacceptable working conditions designed in the name of economic interests.
Should we then rethink the legal framework?
